Privacy Policy — ParchiSaathi
Last updated: 27 Jul 2026 · Policy version: 2026-07-27 · Operated by Gaurav & Associates
1. What we collect
At registration we collect your name, mobile number, email, business name, selected language, consent time, and policy version. As you use the app we store party details, entries, cashbook records, settings, uploaded photos, and security and audit logs.
2. Why we use it
We use data to operate ParchiSaathi, deliver OTPs and essential service messages, maintain ledgers and reports, provide WhatsApp notifications and reminders you select, secure the service, prevent fraud, and provide support. We do not sell personal data.
3. Consent
Registration requires acceptance of the service terms and privacy processing; marketing consent is separate and optional. With the consent time, we record the accepted policy version, language, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the text. Withdrawing marketing consent does not disable the core service. Withdrawing service consent may require closing the OTP-based account.
4. Your parties’ data and share links
You are responsible for customer and supplier information you record. A public khata link is a long random bearer token: anyone holding it can view that khata, and the link does not verify identity. Send it only to the relevant party and revoke, rotate, or expire it when needed.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by our hosting and service providers. OTPs are stored as hashes and expire after 5 minutes. Deleted financial entries may remain marked void for audit integrity. Photos are processed and stored; limited backup or lawful-retention delays may apply after deletion.
6. Service providers and disclosure
Necessary providers such as hosting, email, and WhatsApp services may receive limited data to perform their work. We may disclose data when required by law or a valid order, or to protect security and rights. We do not sell personal data to data brokers.
7. Retention
We keep data while an account is active. After closure, some records may be retained for limited periods for legal, accounting, dispute, security, backup, and fraud-prevention needs, then deleted or de-identified where practicable.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about, correction or erasure of personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise rights. We will verify identity reasonably and respond within an appropriate period.
9. Grievance and contact
For a privacy request or grievance, contact us on WhatsApp: +919414883452. If unresolved, you may approach the competent authority available under applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version and date will appear on this page; where required, material changes will be presented for renewed consent.
